The Cranes

Acrylic paint on a 12in.x12in. round canvas. This piece is vibrant and has a ton of texture with a glossy finish. It was incredibly fun and calming to make. I was inspired by seeing cranes fly low over the surface of a lake through heat waves in the air. In that moment I was the most excited about the sight and my mother said “Oh, I see a Crane painting in Becca’s future!”. 
The Cranes was part of the Cabrillo College 12x12 Art Show in 2024, along with The Woodpeckers.
